Payment in
advance is required for display ads, except for established
customers. If requested, a proof will be shown prior to
printing. Display ads in our print edition are $4.00 per
column inch (column inch is 12 pica wide x 1 inch high).

Classified Ads
Classified Ads may be submitted to the Office Manager in
person or by mail. All Classified Ads must be paid in
advance. (No phone placement.) Classifieds are $3.00 for 20
words or less and 10 cents for each additional word.
Bordered classified ads are $4.50 per column inch. All
classified ads must be paid in advance. All classified ads
purchased for print are duplicated on the web site at no
additional charge.
Web Ads
The Calhoun Chronicle Online has been building strength
since 2003. Ranked well with search engines, our site has
been rapidly growing in “hits” - and as a respectable
resource for our community.
Our web ads are divided into two main
options: “by the page” or “on every page.”
A: Every Page Ads
Ads displayed on the left side of the Main Page are shown on
every page within our entire web - currently nearly 300
pages and growing weekly. Every Page Ads are 140 pixels x
120 pixels, and can be doubled in height (140 x 240) for
only $100 more.

B: Single Page
Ads
Ads displayed on the right hand side or bottom of the screen
are By The Page Ads –shown only on the pages you select*.
Right Hand Ads are placed in order of arrival from top to
bottom, and come in two sizes. Banner Ads are available at
the bottom or top of a page, and only in one size.

2. Right Hand Tower
Ad (130 wide)
In order to flex with clients’ varying needs, we offer the
Tower Ad, limited in width by pixels, but in length by
graphic and text content instead. Towers can include a
graphic 130 wide up to 240 high AND promotional text up to
150 words. Your ad text can contain a multitude of links to
separate pages within your web site, or e-mail addresses
within your business.
Because of their nature, Tower Ads are
available only on certain pages: Around Calhoun County, This
Week in History, The Community Calendar, 2005 Obituaries,
and The Resource Room. Tower ads are placed at the top of
the page, in order of arrival.
3 months, 1 page = $325
6 months, 1 page = $575 (save 10%)

3. Banner Ads (385 x
45)
Banner Ads are available at the top or bottom of selected
pages in our site.** We will work to accommodate clients who
already have banner ads of a different size than our
requirement.
