Wood Festival's Demolition Derby Held.
A large crowd was on hand to witness the destruction.
There was lots of crash and smash action last Saturday, September
13.
Chronicle reporter, Maricia Mlynek, wishes to thank these fine folks
who travel to all derbies in the local area. They are from Elkins and
they were kind enough to let her stand on their flatbed to get pictures.

Dr. Catherine Grant Returns To MHHS.
Dr. Grant recently returned to
Calhoun County to practice at Minnie Hamilton Health Service. She began
her rural medicine service here in 1987 and finished in 1990. We are
glad to have her back.
