Two former Calhouners, Joanne Perry (shown holding
her 10-month-old great-grandson Ethan Thorne) and Sarah Morris Rhodes,
met in Lewisburg last week for lunch and to catch up on news of each
other's family.

Rood Paris McCartney, World War II Hero and
formerly of Calhoun County, will celebrate 90 years of life on April
24th.
