Erin Smith and Keith Smith pose with Hubert Witte (center) in Akron,
Ohio. Witte donated numerous items to the Calhoun Historical Society.
Susan Sullivan, a 2004 graduate of Calhoun
County High School, has been selected to sit behind the desk for the
Pearly Isaac Reed School of Journalism's Broadcast News program at West
Virginia University.
Bethany Drue Morris, daughter of Joe and Sandy
Stull Morris of Cranberry Township, Pa., has received a certificate of
scholastic achievement from Eberly College of Arts and Sciences at West
Virginia University.
Charlie Duskey was surprised while getting ready
to play Bingo at the Senior Citzens Center, Grantsville, on Jan. 30. He
received a certificate from Connie Smith, director of elections in the
county clerks office, for serving Calhoun County for 25 years as a
ballot commissioner for elections
