Cody Clark, 135 lbs., and Ben Laughlin, 152 lbs., both ranked number
one in their respective Class AA-A weight classes, won individual titles
at the Calhoun County Invitational last Saturday.
Clark remained undefeated, 30-0 on the season, while Laughlin
improved to 27-1, as the CHS
squad (169 points) finished fourth to Wirt (190.5), Berkeley Springs
(179) and Clay (178.5) in the 11-team tournament.
Placing second for the Red Devils were Jared Haught (160), Aaron Yoak
(171), Tim Sutro (189) and Caden Arnold (215). In third was Zach Hanshaw
(145), followed by Austin Moore (125) and Aaron Dawson-Jarvis (130), who
were fourth.

Sutro picked up his 100th career win and moved to within eight of the
season pin record. Laughlin now has 98 career wins, while Arnold has 90.
Clark needs two pins to eclipse the career pin record of 102.
Calhoun will participate in the West Virginia Duals at Parkersburg
South High School on Friday at 4 p.m. and on Saturday at 9 a.m.
