A call is being made for volunteers to participate
in the activities of the 19th Regiment, Co. A, Moccasin Rangers, under
the leadership of Dennis Carder, at Calhoun Days from Sept. 10-12, at
Calhoun County Park.
A re-enactment will be held of the Battle of
Sycamore, one of Calhoun County’s skirmishes during the Civil War. There
will also be living history demonstrations at the soldiers encampment
and a worship service in the custom of the camp.
