Election Day for the Town of Grantsville is Tuesday,
June 9.
We urge the citizens of the town to prepare their minds
to vote. Use the privilege as an American citizen and cast a vote for
the candidates that will make decisions for the town during the next
term. Encourage all residents to go to the polls. Grantsville is the
county seat and represents the entire county. It is important for the
future of the county that members of the town council are progressive
citizens who can help solve the challenges of a changing population and
a troubled economy. They must have the vision and backbone to help
create a better society.
“America is a land filled with
courageous giving people.
People who fight for what is right,
People who don’t tolerate bullies,
People who are there in times of
crisis,
And people who lend a hand.
Be proud to call yourself an American!
Help make our town, nation and world a
better place.
There is not any one too old or too
young,
Too rich or too poor, to make a
difference.”
This was taken from the book, “God, Bless the USA,” by
Lee Greenwood.
Plan to vote on Tuesday, June 9. Make a difference. Your
vote does count!
