Amara Yoak, daughter of David and Melissa Yoak of
Grantsville, was chosen Queen Flora XLVIII during Tuesday night’s
pageant at CM/HS auditorium.

Yoak, one of seven CCHS juniors competing for the title,
will reign over the 48th annual Calhoun County Wood Festival that gets
underway on Thursday in Grantsville.
The new Queen Flora, who was crowned by Chelsey Lee
Ball, Queen Flora XLVII, and daughter of Randy and Brenda Ball of Five
Forks, was also named the Interview winner.

Selected as first alternate was Katlin Collins, 17,
daughter of Carl and Marisha Collins of Big Springs.
Second alternate was Brooklynn Renae Talley, daughter of
Richard and Patricia Talley of Pleasant Hill, who was also named Miss
Photogenic.
